In the new version of the RoadCAD are implemented next:
- The user now has the option of defining an arbitrary shape of slope (with berms) that can be arbitrarily distributed on the left and/or right side of the cross section on any segment along alignment.
- In addition to the previous way of working that terrain must be in drawing starting from this version, the user can place terrain in a separate file. This brings a more comfortable work with the program, regardless of the size of the terrain model.
- The possibility of specifying a series of profiles (sections) within an arbitrary interval along alignment has been added.
- The starting station can also be set as a negative number
- Offset function for alignment is implemented, which is very important when the horizontal and vertical alignment are guided separately. Based on the given offset, the program automatically calculates the curve parameter so that the axes remain parallel after offset.
- It is possible to create a common cross-section for several alignment completely automatically, as the program automatically merges several cross-sections into one. In this way, the program supports separate defining left and right alignment. It is a special advantage that the program can automatically integrate more than two axes into a single one.
- The algorithm for generating a plan view of the road has been improved
- Other internal optimizations and fixes
